When someone thinks of Ibiza, first thing that comes into their mind is nightlife and they are not wrong. The clubbing season usually starts in May with the Ibiza opening parties, and keeps rolling through the sizzling summer months until late September’s closing fiestas. For non-stop partying, head to Ibiza Town or the lively resorts of Playa d’en Bossa and San Antonio where most of the island’s super clubs are concentrated. Lots of the clubs have dancefloors spread across several levels playing a various types of electronic music hosted by most of the world famous DJs.
I was amazed recently when asked where did I go for a holiday break with the girls and I replied Ibiza. I was very surprised of the reply back, “aren’t you not too old”!!! In my opinion, Ibiza is one of the most out there places I have had the pleasure of experiencing. This is a place where anybody can go despite age, gender, ethnic background. You can be whatever you want to be! Why stop enjoying the music just because of a number, that being your age? Music and dancing are ageless. A massive bonus for me is you can wear flat shoes/trainers with a pretty dress and dance the night away until the very early hours !!
If you’re not into the club scene, there is so much to see on the Island. From beautiful beaches, sunsets, natural parks to be shared with your loved ones. For a more relaxed and family friendly feel, try Cala Jondal in San Jose. There is also some hippie markets along the way with some very nice boutiques. There is something for everybody to enjoy on this Island.
