You can absolutely build muscles with cable machines. Cables are not the best when compared with free compound exercises for strength and core stability, but they definitely help in performing exercise with resistance.
You can also progressively overload over a period of time with cables, going nice and slow and controlled is always the key!! Don’t be put off by the look of this equipment, if your unsure on how to use it go and ask someone, once you’ve used cables you will love them!!
